The Øresund Bridge: What to Expect
The Øresund Fixed Link opened in July 2000. The crossing consists of a bridge from the Swedish coast to the artificial island of Peberholm, followed by a tunnel to the Danish island of Amager. Travelling by private car across the bridge is a genuinely memorable experience — the views are extraordinary, particularly at dawn or dusk.
